2011 LOST GRAVES OF THE BULGE – Documentary – The Battle of the Bulge was a last ditch effort German offensive designed to split the British and American forces that were rapidly destroying Germany’s stranglehold over Europe. It lasted from December 16, 1944 to January 25, 1945. The fighting was so fierce that it soon depleted the Germans of men, machines and supplies. Of the 840,000 men committed by the US there were 89,500 casualites (19,000 killed, 47,500 wounded and 23,000 captured POWs and MIAs). This is the next of History Flight’s campaign to ‘bring them home”.

2010 LOST GRAVES OF TARAWA – Documentary – The battle for Tarawa came nearly two years after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. The 76 hour battle in Novembber 1943 was and still remains controversial with over 4500 Japanese killed, over 1100 US Marines killed or missing and another 2300 wounded. “You are not forgotten” and “No man left behind” are the oft-repeated principles of the U.S. Military, yet almost 78,000 American service personnel remain missing from WWII. Four hundred ninety-five (495) of the 1,113 US Marines and Sailors killed in the battle of Tarawa are still missing today — almost every other man left behind. How did this happen?
